Wet ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas (drained)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 Tsp mustard powder or garlic powder

Dry ingredients

  • 2/3 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup vital wheat gluten (can not substitute)

Stock pot

  • 2L water
  • 1 onion (peeled and chopped in half)
  • 2 garlic cloves (peeled and smashed)
  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce
